Explosion in Supreme Court Building leaves four workers injured

ISLAMABAD, Nov 04 (APP):Four workers were injured on Monday when an explosion occurred in the cooling unit of the Supreme Court building.

Rescue teams, police, and fire brigade personnel immediately rushed to the site following the incident.

According to initial reports, workers were carrying out repair work in the basement when the blast took place.

One worker sustained serious injuries, while three others received minor injuries. The explosion occurred at approximately 11:00am, shattering glass windows of the Supreme Court building.

Following the blast, lawyers and staff members evacuated the premises. Rescue teams began operations upon arrival, however, Supreme Court staff shifted the injured workers to hospital on a self-help basis. Further investigations into the incident are underway.
