ISLAMABAD, Jan 06 (APP):The Head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan provided insight into her pivotal role in public administration, the working style of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the central priorities of the Administration.
This interview, reported by various Uzbek media outlets, highlights the ongoing commitment to reform and the guiding principle that “every person matters,” said a release issued here on Tuesday.
In her first major interview, Saida Mirziyoyeva, Mirziyoyeva outlined the focus of the Presidential Administration as one that shapes strategic directions and monitors the implementation of key decisions, rather than engaging in day-to-day operational management.
She characterized the current phase as an “era of reforms,” emphasizing the necessity for continuous oversight, accountability, and societal feedback to achieve sustainable change.
In discussing President Mirziyoyev’s leadership qualities, she praised his ability to listen to the populace, trust his team, and nurture human resources.
She stressed that successful reforms stem from a combination of firm decision-making and a framework built on flexibility, dialogue, and mutual trust.
The Head of the Administration identified five priority areas for her work: water supply, education, healthcare, business development, and the judicial system.
She highlighted the critical nature of water management in an agrarian economy, noting its strategic importance.
Changes in the education and healthcare sectors are viewed as long-term projects whose benefits may not be immediately visible.
Furthermore, Mirziyoyeva underscored the significance of a transparent and fair judicial system, asserting that without it, effective economic reforms, increased investment, and public trust in the government would be unattainable.
Expressing her personal interests, Mirziyoyeva mentioned her passion for international diplomacy and dialogue, emphasizing that fostering communication and cooperation is vital for improving citizens’ quality of life.
The principle of valuing every individual remains a central tenet of state policy, she said.
In reflecting on her role, Mirziyoyeva explained that her appointment as Head of the Administration serves to ensure that President Mirziyoyev receives direct and objective information about the realities on the ground.
This mechanism, she believes, enables effective monitoring of reforms and allows for prompt responses to regional challenges.
As Uzbekistan navigates its reform agenda, the commitment to prioritizing the needs of its people stands firm, with Saida Mirziyoyeva at the forefront of these efforts.
