ISLAMABAD, Feb 24 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police held an important awareness meeting with security officers of various embassies in the Diplomatic Enclave to strengthen regulatory compliance and coordination.
An official told APP on Tuesday that the meeting was conducted under the directions of DIG Security Muhammad Atiq Tahir, while SSP Security Muhammad Sarfraz Virk chaired the session.
He said the purpose of the meeting was to guide embassy officials on M-Tag registration and other required protocols related to obtaining residential status and vehicle compliance.
During the session, SSP Security Muhammad Sarfraz Virk provided a detailed briefing on the procedure for issuance of M-Tag, its operational importance, and the associated legal requirements.
The official said participants were informed about the role of M-Tag in improving security management, vehicle identification, and regulated entry mechanisms within sensitive zones.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants expressed their commitment to ensuring full compliance and enhancing awareness within their respective missions.
