Eidul Fitr special blessing of Allah for Muslims: CM Rizvi

LAHORE, Jun 15 (APP):Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Dr Hasan Askari has congratulated the nation on the happy
occasion of Eidul Fitr.
The chief minister, in his message here Friday, said, “Eidul Fitr is a special blessing of Almighty Allah for the Muslims after the month-long prayers. The day brings the message of love, affection and brotherhood, and teaches us to include the deprived segments of the society in the joys of Eid.”
“We can achieve salvation in this life and the life hereafter by helping the needy and the poor and sharing the joys of the auspicious day with them,” he added.
He said,”The day also requires that we should ignore internal differences and promote love and affection in the society.”
Dr Rizvi said,”We should also remember the great sacrifices of those martyrs who had rendered their lives for the defence of the beloved motherland.” A commitment should be made to serve the ailing humanity for the sake of Allah Almighty, he added.
