Efforts to bring BZU in top ranking: VC

MULTAN, Nov 1 (APP): Vice Chancellor Bahauddin Zakariya
University (BZU) Dr Tahir Ameen has said that efforts are being
made to bring university’s ranking in top positions.
Holding a meeting with political and social worker Ameer
Ullah Sheikh here on Sunday, VC Dr Tahir Ameen said that
Bahauddin Zakariya University was on 8th position in the ranking
of Higher Education Commission (HEC) due to faulty planning.
He added that political pressure in any decision would be
rejected and only merit system would be ensured in the university
in order to create positive image of the university. He said that
Bahauddin Zakariya University was a historical educational
institute. He said that thousands of students were getting
education every year from the university.
On this occasion, Ameer Ullah Sheikh, Tariq Umer Chaudhry
and Akhtar Hussain presented bouquet to the newly appointed
vice chancellor and congratulate him.
