Education top priority of govt: Governor

LAHORE, Nov 28 (APP): Punjab Governor Malik Muhammad
Rafique Rajwana has said that the government has allocated
maximum resources and funds for the spread of higher education
as education is its one of the top priority.
Addressing the Convocation 2015 of the Forman Christian
College (FCC) University here on Saturday, he said, “Our youth
is equipped with immense capabilities and it is a duty to
introduce the new generation with the thought and philosophy
of our great thinkers.”
The Punjab Governor said that the link with the past
would bring up the generation which is full of national
spirit.
Rajwana said only those nations achieve success which
keep a close link with their past glorious traditions and keep
themselves abreast of the present.
The Punjab Governor talking to student said the graduates
have stepped towards their practical lives after this ceremony
and it is a great pride for you to be part of this great alma
matter.
He congratulated the graduating students and their
parents.
Speaking on the occasion, Rector FCC Chartered University
Dr James A Taby said that educational research are the main
focus of the university due to which students have achieved
enviable success in every field of life.
Punjab Governor gave away medals and certificates among
the successful graduates.
