ISLAMABAD, Dec 03 (APP):The Federal Minister of Science & Technology, Khalid Magsi, attended the 4th Convocation of the National University of Technology (NUTECH) on Wednesday, admired the academic performance of 244 MS and BS graduating students.
Addressing the gathering, Federal Minister Khalid Hussain Magsi noted that over the past seven years, NUTECH has produced more than 700 MS and BS graduates and has expanded its academic portfolio to 22 undergraduate and graduate programs in Engineering and Technology.
He expressed confidence that the university would continue its progress with dedication and commitment.
Khalid Hussain Magsi congratulated the graduating students, their parents, and faculty members on this milestone.
He emphasized the critical role of graduates as engineers, IT experts, and technologists in contributing to the nation’s development and urged them to dedicate their knowledge and skills for the greater good of Pakistan.
Highlighting NUTECH’s collaboration with industry, the Minister appreciated the university’s initiatives with national industry chambers, associations, and major industrial enterprises, which provide students with technical and skills training aimed at societal progress and economic prosperity.
The Minister also lauded NUTECH’s global achievements, recognizing it as a world leader in Technology, Development, and Innovation, and noting its position among the top 500 global universities in Science Interdisciplinary Rankings.
He commended the faculty and staff for their tireless efforts in realizing the university’s vision and mission.
Concluding his address, Federal Minister Khalid Hussain Magsi also congratulated the students and the award winners and encouraged them to play a vital role in serving the industry, society, and country.
