SUKKUR, Aug 28 (APP):The Enterprise Development Fund (EDF) under the People’s Poverty Reduction Program (PPRP) has launched an initiative to provide interest-free loans to entrepreneurs in Sukkur and Ghotki districts.
The program, funded by the Sindh Government and implemented by the Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO), aims to promote small and medium-sized enterprise development and reduce poverty.

The PPRP is a flagship program of the Sindh Government, designed to reduce poverty and promote economic growth in rural areas. The program has multiple components, including enterprise development, vocational training, and village improvement.
The EDF is a key component of the PPRP, providing interest-free loans to entrepreneurs to start or strengthen their businesses. The program has the potential to transform the lives of thousands of entrepreneurs in Sindh, promoting economic empowerment and financial inclusion.
By providing interest-free loans and entrepreneurship training, the EDF initiative can help create jobs, increase income, and improve living standards. The program’s focus on women entrepreneurs is particularly noteworthy, as it aims to promote economic empowerment and financial inclusion among women in rural areas.
