ECP restores membership of 14 more lawmakers

ISLAMABAD, Jan 21 (APP):The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday reinstated the membership of 14 legislators who had earlier been directed to cease functioning as members of their respective assemblies following the submission of their statements of assets and liabilities.
According to an ECP spokesman, the restored members include one member of the National Assembly, six members of the Punjab Assembly, two members of the Sindh Assembly, and five members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
The National Assembly member reinstated is Abdul Hakeem Baloch (NA 231, Malir III). Punjab Assembly members restored are Mansoor Azam (PP 72, Sargodha), Muhammad Asif Malik (PP 82, Khushab), Muhammad Kashif (PP 134, Nankana Sahib), Ali Abbas (PP 189, Okara), Muhammad Ali Raza Khan Khakwani (PP 236, Vehari), and Salah Uddin Khan (PP 286).
Sindh Assembly members include Ajaz Khan (PS 88, Malir) and Rukhsana Parveen (reserved seat for women).
From KP Assembly, the restored lawmakers are Ibad Ullah Khan (PK 30, Shangla), Ihtisham Ali (PK 61, Mardan), Malik Tariq Awan (PK 82, Peshawar), Ishfaq Ahmad (PK 89, Nowshera), and Shah Abu Turab Khan Bangash (PK 93, Hangu).
