ISLAMABAD, Dec 25 (APP): The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has recalled its notification for holding Local Government Elections (LGE) on January 14 on indirect seats of District Councils, Municipal Corporations and Metropolitan Corporation of Sindh.
The new date of LG polls on these seats will be announced later, said spokesman of the ECP.
Earlier, ECP had issued notification on December 16, stating that elections on the reserved seats of women, laborer/worker, Youth and Non Muslims would be held on January 14, 2016.
But now ECP has recalled its notifications issued on December 16 and 17 respectively, said notification.
