ISLAMABAD, May 31 (APP): The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has set up Election Monitoring and Control Centres (EMCC) in Islamabad to handle and swiftly resolve public complaints during the by-election in PP-52, Sialkot, schedule for June 1.
Apart from Islamabad, the Election Commission has also established control centers at the provincial, divisional, and district levels to ensure accessibility for complainants. These centers are staffed with trained personnel to provide prompt and effective resolution of public grievances.
According to ECP spokesperson, complaints can be submitted to the EMCC starting today (Saturday) and will be accepted continuously on June 1, the polling day, and until the results are finalized.
Citizens can reach EMCC staff by emailing complaints@ecp.gov.pk. A dedicated helpline, 051-111-327-000, is also available to help the public report any issues.
Similarly, polling-related complaints can be submitted 24/7 via fax at 051-9204404. The EMCC is also equipped with social media and electronic media monitoring tools.
