PESHAWAR, June 12 (APP): A moderate intensity earthquake, measuring 5.0 magnitudes on the Richter Scale, struck different areas of Malakand Division including Chitral in Sunday’s wee hours.
According to Pakistan’s Meteorological Department, the epicenter of the quake was located in border area of Afghanistan and Tajikistan at a depth of 85 kilometers.
There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
