ISLAMABAD, Jan 30 (APP):Special Assistant to Prime Minister of Pakistan for Media, Iftikhar Durrani called on Chairman Board of Investment (BoI) Haroon Sharif here Wednesday.
During the meeting, Iftikhar Durrani discussed the upcoming visits of foreign business delegations to Pakistan, said a statement issued by the Board here Wednesday.
Moreover, the proposal of holding the meetings of the delegations with different Ministries and stakeholders/businessmen during the upcoming visits was also discussed and both side expressed keen interest to finalize it shortly. They discussed to devise a mechanism to increase efficiency, transparency in businesses to attract potential foreign and local investors.
The Chairman BoI emphasized that big brands from these delegations may be attracted to explore opportunities in Pakistan.
