ISLAMABAD, Jun 10 (APP): Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry on Friday took serious notice of water shortage in various sectors of federal capital.
In a statement issued here, the minister has issued a show cause notice to the Director General Capital Development Authority (CDA) Water Management Directorate.
He directed CDA officials to keep open the complaint offices round the clock to address the complaints of the residents of capital city.
Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that all the tube wells should be properly maintained to ensure enough water supply.
He also directed CDA Water Management officials to increase water tanks for smooth supply of water to the people.
