Dr Tariq Fazal pays tribute to police martyrs
ISLAMABAD, Aug 04 (APP):Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry on Tuesday paid tribute to the country’s police martyrs, saying their courage, sacrifice and unwavering sense of duty would always be remembered by the nation.
In his message on Police Martyrs’ Day, Dr Tariq Fazal said the day was dedicated to honouring the brave police personnel who laid down their lives to maintain peace, protect citizens and uphold the rule of law.
He said Pakistan’s police force had made unmatched sacrifices in the fight against terrorism and crime.
He added that the blood of police martyrs had strengthened the country’s security, peace and stability.
“The entire nation takes pride in these courageous sons of the soil, and their sacrifices will always be remembered,” the minister said.
Dr Tariq Fazal also paid tribute to the families of the police martyrs and prayed that Allah Almighty grant the departed souls the highest place in His mercy, bless their families with patience and strength, and enable the police force to continue serving the nation with greater determination.
He said martyrs were the nation’s most valuable asset and added that the sacrifices of Pakistan’s police martyrs would remain a lasting symbol of honour, courage and dedication.
