ISLAMABAD, May 05 (APP):Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Tuesday, emphasized the importance of further enhancing facilitation in consular services, including the efficient issuance of passports, and ensuring timely and effective support for Pakistanis at home and abroad.
He stressed the need for streamlined, citizen-centric mechanisms to better serve the public, particularly the overseas diaspora.
The DPM/FM chaired a meeting to review key consular matters and service delivery for Pakistani nationals, the Foreign Office Spokesperson said in a press release.
The meeting was attended by Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi, Secretary Foreign Affairs Ambassador Amna Baloch, Secretary Interior and other senior officials from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Interior.
Dar also appreciated the coordination between the ministry of foreign affairs and the ministry of interior.
