ISLAMABAD, June 14 (APP): Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar Saturday appreciated the commitment of the members of the committee for the preservation and development of Hazrat Bari Imam Shrine.
The DPM/FM chaired a meeting of the Committee for the Development and Management of the Hazrat Bari Imam Shrine, DPM Office said in a press release.
The meeting was attended by Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, SAPM to DPM Office, Interior Secretary Lt Gen (Retd) Afzal Janjua, Raja Sarfraz Akram, Gauhar Zahid Malik, Sohail Bhatti, Iman Rabbani, Mohsin Raza Naqvi, and Deputy Commissioner Islamabad.
The committee decided to hold the the ‘Chadar Poshi’ ceremony’ on 7th August while ‘Urs Mubarak’ of Hazrat Bari Imam Sarkar would be celebrated from 8th to 10th August.
The DPM directed to constitute a sub-committee headed by the railways minister to oversee the upkeep, maintenance, and the construction work of the shrine, ensuring its preservation and continued reverence.
