DPM/FM chairs meeting to review cases seeking exemption from applicability of austerity measures

Deputy Prime Minister / Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Tuesday, chaired a meeting which examined several cases submitted by the ministries/divisions seeking exemption from the applicability of various austerity measures. 

ISLAMABAD, Jun 16 (APP): Deputy Prime Minister / Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Tuesday, chaired a meeting which examined several cases submitted by the ministries/divisions seeking exemption from the applicability of various austerity measures.
The Committee for Monitoring and Implementation of Fuel Conservation and Additional Austerity Measures in a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, after detailed deliberations, finalised its recommendations accordingly, the Foreign Office Spokesperson said in a press release.
The meeting was attended by the Minister for Climate Change, SAPM Tariq Bajwa, Secretaries of Interior & Narcotics Control, Petroleum, Climate Change & Environmental Coordination and Inter-Provincial Coordination; as well as senior officials of the relevant Ministries/Divisions.
