ISLAMABAD, Aug 30 (APP): Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar Sunday said he was deeply saddened by the tragic ferry accident off Girne in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
In a post on X, he said, “My heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected and with the missing persons and their loved ones.”
“We stand in solidarity with the people of Türkiye and Northern Cyprus during this difficult hour and pray for the success of the ongoing search and rescue operations,” he added.
