Dossier on human rights violations in IOK handed over to British Govt

ISLAMABAD, Oct 14 (APP): Syed Ibne Abbas, Pakistan High
Commissioner to the United Kingdom handed over the “Dossier on Human Rights Violations in Kashmir” to Owen Jenkins, UK’s Special Representative on Afghanistan and Pakistan (SRAP) at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO).

The dossier contains details of gross human rights violations
in the Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir by the Indian occupation forces, a message said received here Friday.

The high commissioner highlighted the plight of the Kashmiri
people and sought UK’s assistance in putting an end to human rights abuses in IOK.

Owen Jenkins received the dossier and expressed that the
government of the UK upholds the human rights as a priority and will raise the issue of violations with the concerned.
