ISLAMABAD, Sep 05 (APP):Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Security Islamabad Rana Umar Farooq visited security duty points across the Red Zone and reviewed the preparedness of police personnel deployed at key locations.
An official told APP on Saturday that DIG Umar met officers performing security duties at different points and inspected the arrangements on the ground.
During the visit, Umar briefed the deployed officers on remaining vigilant and performing their duties with full alertness.
He directed the personnel to remain attentive while carrying out their assigned security responsibilities in the Red Zone.
