ISLAMABAD, Jun 01 (APP):Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, held an orderly room at his office to ensure the timely and prioritized resolution of departmental and personal issues faced by police officers.
An official told APP on Sunday that officers from the Operations Division participated in the orderly room and presented both personal and official concerns to the DIG.
He said that instructions were issued to senior officers to reinitiate inquiries into serious matters and expedite the resolution of other pending issues on a priority basis.
DIG Tariq said several initiatives had been undertaken for the welfare of police personnel, including improvements in housing, medical facilities, and the standard of education.
Addressing the officers, DIG Tariq said, “If you face any issue, my office door is always open for you. We all need to work together for the betterment of this city.”
DIG said the primary objective of the orderly room was to address the welfare, personal, and official concerns of police officers through direct communication and swift action.
