DIG Tariq holds open court to address public grievances

ISLAMABAD, Feb 01 (APP): Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq held an open court at his office to hear public complaints and issued immediate directives for their resolution.
A public relations officer told APP on Sunday that during the open court, the DIG Tariq listened to citizens’ grievances and directed the concerned officers to take prompt and effective action to resolve the issues raised.

 Muhammad Jawad Tariq informed citizens that complaints can also be registered through the IGP Complaint Cell 1715, adding that Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has directed all senior police officers to regularly hold open courts across the district.

In line with these instructions, all zonal SPs are conducting open courts in their respective areas to ensure that public concerns are heard and addressed in a timely manner.
The DIG Tariq emphasized that Islamabad Police remain committed to people-friendly policing and encouraged citizens to openly share their issues at such forums, reiterating that the resolution of public grievances is a top priority of the force.
