ISLAMABAD, Jan 06 (APP):Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Muhammad Jawad Tariq attended the wedding ceremony of the daughter of late Sub-Inspector Muhammad Munir, demonstrating the police department’s continued support for the families of fallen officers.
A police spokesperson told APP on Tuesday that the DIG’s participation reflected the commitment of Islamabad Police to stand by the families of its martyrs and deceased officers in every phase of life.
He said the DIG Tariq conveyed heartfelt condolences and best wishes to the bereaved family, reiterating that the families of police officers who have served the force with dedication are the collective responsibility of the department.
“Families of late police officers are our responsibility, and Islamabad Police will always extend every possible support to them,” the spokesperson quoted the DIG as saying.
The DIG Tariq emphasized that Islamabad Police not only values the sacrifices of its officers but also remains committed to the welfare and dignity of their families, ensuring they never feel alone.
