Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Security Rana Umar Farooq on Monday reviewed the arrangements for the ongoing Islamabad Police recruitment process during a visit to the recruitment venue at F-9 Park and directed officers to ensure that the entire exercise is conducted strictly on merit and with complete transparency.

An ICT Police spokesperson told APP that the DIG Umar also chaired a meeting on the recruitment process, attended by the officers concerned.

The meeting reviewed arrangements for the recruitment drive, administrative matters and the implementation of the prescribed recruitment procedures.

DIG Umar directed the officers to complete every stage of the recruitment process in accordance with the approved rules and regulations, ensuring merit, transparency and equal opportunities for all candidates.
Earlier, he visited the recruitment site at F-9 Park, inspected the arrangements in place and issued necessary instructions to the relevant officers for the smooth, transparent and orderly conduct of the recruitment process.
He emphasized that Islamabad Police remained committed to recruiting competent personnel through a fair, transparent and merit-based selection process
