An official told APP on Sunday that the DIG Security met officers and personnel deployed on security duties and directed them to remain highly vigilant and perform their responsibilities with professionalism and dedication.

Rana Umar reviewed overall security arrangements, including entry and exit points, walkthrough gates and monitoring systems, besides inspecting the operational status of CCTV cameras installed at both courts.

He emphasized that the security of sensitive institutions, particularly courts, remained among the top priorities of Islamabad Police and no negligence in this regard would be tolerated.
The DIG also directed officers to strengthen monitoring mechanisms, maintain strict surveillance of suspicious activities and stay fully prepared to effectively respond to any emergency situation.
He said Islamabad Police was utilizing all available resources in line with modern security requirements to ensure a safe and secure environment for citizens and institutions in the federal capital.
