ISLAMABAD, Feb 08 (APP): Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police senior officers, including Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq, SSP Operations and other senior officials, visited various duty points across the federal capital to review security arrangements and boost operational readiness.
An official told APP on Sunday that the senior officers remained present alongside police personnel deployed at different locations and conducted on-the-spot inspections of security duties.

During the visits, the officers briefed the deployed personnel and directed them to remain fully alert at all times, ensure strict checking, and take all possible measures to protect citizens’ lives and property.

The senior officers emphasized professional conduct, vigilance and timely response, particularly at sensitive points, entry and exit routes, and high-traffic areas of the city.
They reiterated that maintaining peace and ensuring public safety is the top priority of Islamabad Police and that no negligence would be tolerated in the performance of duty.
The visits were part of Islamabad Police’s ongoing efforts to strengthen field supervision, enhance coordination, and ensure effective implementation of security measures across the capital.
