ISLAMABAD, Jan 27 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police’s Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Headquarters Malik Jameel Zafar chaired an important meeting to review the implementation of public service delivery initiatives and welfare measures for the police force.
A police spokesperson told APP on Tuesday that the meeting was attended by Assistant Inspectors General (AIGs), SP Security, SP Operations, Director Special Initiatives and other senior officers.
The spokesperson said the DIG Zafar conducted a detailed review of various initiatives launched to improve public service delivery by Islamabad Police and assessed progress on ongoing reforms aimed at facilitating citizens.
During the meeting, strategies were also formulated to further strengthen welfare measures for police officers and personnel, with the objective of enhancing overall performance and morale of the force.
DIG Headquarters Zafar issued clear directions to officers to ensure timely implementation of the assigned tasks and stressed that delays would not be tolerated.
He emphasized that effective public service delivery and the welfare of the police force are closely linked, adding that motivated and well-supported officers perform their duties more efficiently.
The DIG Zafar reaffirmed that Islamabad Police remains committed to improving services for citizens while ensuring the well-being of its officers and personnel through practical and sustainable measures.
