DIG Ali orders computerized Police station records, warns against delays
ISLAMABAD, Sep 30 (APP):Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad Ali Waseem, along with SSP Investigation Suleman Zafar, on Wednesday held a meeting with readers of zonal SPs and Moharrars of police stations, directing them to ensure timely completion and computerization of police records.
An official told APP that the DIG Ali Waseem directed the readers and Moharrars to keep all police station records complete and up to date.
He also ordered that case property (Mal-e-Muqadma) should be deposited in the Malkhana without unnecessary delay and proper record should be maintained.
Ali directed officials to ensure that police station records were maintained through a modern computerized system to improve record keeping and make official work easier.
He warned that negligence or unnecessary delay in completing official records would not be tolerated.
The DIG Ali asked the concerned officials to perform their duties responsibly and ensure that records and case property were handled according to the prescribed rules.
