ISLAMABAD, Oct 02 (APP): A quarterly review meeting of the Multiple Micronutrient Supplementation (MMS) Project was held on Friday at the District Health Office Islamabad to assess progress, service delivery and field-level implementation of the nutrition initiative.
The meeting was chaired by Dr Shazia and co-chaired by Dr Fawwad, in collaboration with Nutrition International and UNICEF. Participants reviewed project progress, service delivery data, field experiences and feedback received from communities.
The meeting discussed measures to strengthen the delivery of MMS services and improve coordination and monitoring at the field level.
Top-performing Lady Health Workers were presented Certificates of Appreciation in recognition of their dedication and contribution to the implementation of the project.
The session concluded with a commitment to strengthen joint monitoring, address implementation gaps and ensure the sustainability of MMS services for improved maternal and community nutrition.
