The District Health Office (DHO) Islamabad on Thursday organised a free medical camp at Rural-10, providing a range of healthcare, screening, vaccination and counselling services to local residents.

ISLAMABAD, Oct 08 (APP): The District Health Office (DHO) Islamabad on Thursday organised a free medical camp at Rural-10, providing a range of healthcare, screening, vaccination and counselling services to local residents.

The camp offered free medical consultations, family planning services, mental health counselling and maternal and child nutrition services.

Free laboratory investigations, including chest X-ray, tuberculosis testing, hepatitis C screening and blood sugar tests, were also provided to the community.

Childhood vaccination and HPV vaccination services were additionally offered during the camp.

MSU In-Charge Dr Shazia Gul visited the camp and reviewed the arrangements to ensure quality delivery of healthcare services.

The initiative aimed to improve access to essential primary healthcare and preventive services for residents of the area.
