ISLAMABAD, Oct 02 (APP): The District Health Office Islamabad has intensified dengue surveillance and vector control activities across the federal capital to prevent the spread of dengue and contain potential health risks.

According to official sources, surveillance and vector control teams are conducting field inspections, identifying and eliminating mosquito larvae, checking water storage sites and responding promptly to complaints received from residents.
The teams are also monitoring compliance with dengue prevention standard operating procedures (SOPs) at various locations to strengthen preventive measures and reduce potential breeding sites.
The District Health Office urged citizens to keep their homes and surroundings clean, avoid stagnant water and cooperate with field teams during surveillance and vector control activities.
