DG NCCIA reviews Faisalabad circle performance, orders quick disposal of public complaints
ISLAMABAD, Sep 28 (APP): Director General National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi reviewed the monthly performance of the Faisalabad Circle and directed officers to ensure quick and merit-based disposal of public complaints.
An official told APP on Monday that the meeting was attended by the Additional Director and other officers of the Faisalabad Circle.
The meeting was briefed on the circle’s monthly performance, progress in cases under investigation, measures to prevent cybercrime and disposal of public complaints.
DG NCCIA Rizvi individually asked officers about their respective areas of work and provided guidance to the further improve the investigation of cybercrime cases.
Rizvi directed the officers to deal with citizens politely and respectfully and ensure that their complaints were addressed without unnecessary delay.
He also directed that delays in investigation should be avoided and transparency, merit and rule of law should be ensured at every level.
The DG said better investigation and timely action on complaints were important for providing relief to citizens and improving the agency’s performance.
