ISLAMABAD, Nov 12 (APP):Deputy Chairman Senate, Syedaal Khan, visited the residence of late Senator Irfan Siddiqui to offer heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family.
He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and for strength and patience for the family to bear this irreparable loss.
Expressing deep sorrow over the demise of Senator Irfan Siddiqui, the Deputy Chairman described him as “a towering figure of intellect, dignity, and grace.” He said Senator Siddiqui’s services in the fields of politics, journalism, and literature would be remembered with great respect and admiration.
“Senator Irfan Siddiqui leaves behind a remarkable legacy of thought, writing, and statesmanship,” said Syedal Khan. “His contributions to parliamentary history and his role in promoting democratic values will always be remembered.”
The Deputy Chairman further remarked that Senator Siddiqui’s role in the Pakistan Muslim League (N) and within the Parliament was exemplary. “Every decision he made reflected his principles, tolerance, and dignity,” he added.
Highlighting the late senator’s multidimensional persona, Syedaal Khan said: “He was not only an accomplished politician but also a distinguished scholar, writer, and a man of refined character. His literary, social, and political contributions are truly unforgettable.”
“Working alongside Senator Irfan Siddiqui was both an honour and a learning experience,” the Deputy Chairman noted. “He inspired everyone around him through his intellect, humility, and unwavering commitment to values.”
It may be recalled that Deputy Chairman Senate Syedaal Khan also attended the funeral of late Senator Irfan Siddiqui a day earlier.
