ISLAMABAD, May 06 (APP): Deputy Chairman of the Senate Syedaal Khan Nasar on Wednesday extended heartfelt congratulations to the entire nation, the Armed Forces of Pakistan, and particularly to Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir on the occasion of the first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq,” commemorating what he described as a remarkable victory and historic success against India.
In his special message, the Deputy Chairman of the Senate said that “Marka-e-Haq” stands as a shining chapter in Pakistan’s history, wherein the Armed Forces of Pakistan delivered a highly professional, effective, and resolute response to enemy aggression.
He remarked that India not only faced defeat at the hands of Pakistan but also suffered embarrassment and disrepute at the global level.
He further said that when India attempted to impose war on Pakistan through false propaganda and baseless allegations, the Armed Forces of Pakistan, under the leadership of Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, demonstrated unparalleled courage, bravery, and professional excellence—earning recognition and appreciation worldwide.
The Deputy Chairman added that the engagement not only highlighted Pakistan’s military capabilities but also reinforced the image of its armed forces as a disciplined, organised, and formidable institution on the global stage.
He said that the Armed Forces of Pakistan are a source of pride for the entire nation and are increasingly held in high esteem across the world.
He credited this honor to the military leadership, particularly Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir’s prudent and visionary command, and emphasised that the nation stands firmly alongside its armed forces.
Describing “Marka-e-Haq” as a symbol of national unity, he said that during this period, the people of Pakistan, the armed forces, the government, and religious scholars stood united on one platform—an embodiment of collective solidarity.
He stressed that the occasion sends a clear message that the Pakistani nation will never bow to any challenge.
Syedaal Khan Nasar paid a glowing tribute to the Armed Forces of Pakistan, stating that their bravery, sacrifices, and valour have not only strengthened national defence but also elevated Pakistan’s international stature.
He reiterated that it is a matter of immense pride that Pakistan’s armed forces are respected and honored worldwide.
He warned that any future act of aggression by India would be met with a strong and decisive response. He made it clear that Pakistan will not compromise on its sovereignty and security, and any hostile action will be countered with full force on all fronts.
