Delegation of the High Court Bar Association Hyderabad visits FCCP
ISLAMABAD, Jul 30 (APP):A delegation of the High Court Bar Association Hyderabad, Sindh, led by its President, Ayaz Hussain Tunio, visited the Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan.
The Registrar FCCP, Hafeez Ullah Khan, welcomed the delegation and briefed it on the establishment of the Federal Constitutional Court, its constitutional jurisdiction, and its unique role within Pakistan’s judicial system.
He emphasized that effective coordination and cooperation among the judiciary, the legal fraternity, and other institutions are essential for the efficient administration of justice and the development of a strong judicial system.
The delegation was then shown a comprehensive documentary highlighting the establishment of the Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan, its constitutional status, jurisdiction, role in the judicial system, and institutional development.
The documentary also showcased the establishment of the Court’s various directorates and departments, their responsibilities, its modern administrative framework, and the initiatives undertaken to ensure transparent, efficient, and timely delivery of constitutional justice to the public.
Heads of the Court’s various departments informed on the functions, responsibilities, administration, working mechanisms, and ongoing projects.
The delegation was also apprised of the Court’s administrative management, information technology, research, media, human resources, and other supporting departments, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of the Court’s administrative structure, professional systems, and institutional capacity.
The delegation appreciated the Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan’s modern administrative system, high professional standards, transparency, and institutional development, and expressed satisfaction with the Court’s effective performance.
The members of the delegation described the visit as highly informative and beneficial and expressed hope that such study visits would further strengthen cooperation between the judiciary and the legal fraternity while promoting constitutional and legal awareness.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation posed for a commemorative group photograph with the Registrar of the Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan.
