ISLAMABAD, July 12 (APP): Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah Tuesday discussed matters related to the appointment of ECP members.
The Finance Minister shared with the opposition leader the proposed names for the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) from the government side.
Khursheed Shah said he would provide opposition’s point of view on the matter after consultations with his colleagues by Thursday.
The Finance Minister and the Leader of Opposition reiterated
their resolve to complete the due process of appointment of ECP members by July 25, before the expiry of the constitutional limit of 45 days.
