Dar meets Araghchi; stresses dialogue, diplomacy for peace, stability

NEW YORK, Sep 24 (APP): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar on Thursday met with Foreign Minister of Iran Seyed Abbas Araghchi on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly here.

The two counterparts discussed bilateral relations and exchanged views on regional and international developments.

Deputy Prime Minister Dar underscored the importance of dialogue, diplomacy and sustained engagement in promoting regional peace and stability.

Both the foreign ministers agreed to remain in close contact.
