ISLAMABAD, June 22 (APP): Charge d’ Affaires of Denmark Embassy
Jakob Rogild Jakobsen visited the ‘Wall of Kindness’ in Islamabad
and donated clothes and food items to less privileged people during
the month of Ramzan.
“The donation was given on behalf of the Embassy staff to mark
the spirit of Ramzan which focus on sharing with the less privileged
people of society,” said a statement of the embassy here.
The Wall of Kindness is an initiative of Abbas Zaidi, who was quoted as saying in an interview to an English daily some time back that “the wall was like a place where people would leave their surplus clothes, food items and other usable items for the needy people who pick what they need.”
