Czeck Ambassador calls on Governor Balochistan

QUETTA, June 06 (APP): The Ambassador of Czech Republic, Jon Fury
called on Governor Balochistan, Muhammad Khan Achakzai at Governor House, here on Monday.

Talking to the Ambassador, Governor Balochistan said that Pakistan had special importance in the region due to its geo-graphical position and long coast.

The world has been facing a new global change in connection with
political and economical scenario, he said, adding that the future of the region was linked with a peaceful and economically thriving Pakistan.

He told the Ambassador that Balochistan was rich in natural resources
besides it had a long coast, adding that there were great opportunities for foreign investment in different sectors in Balochistan.

He underlined the need to take more measures for further strengthening mutual and friendly ties between Pakistan and Czech Republic. On the occasion, Czech Ambassador lauded the Pakistan’s role to curb terrorism in the region.

Czech Republic Honorary Consul General based in Karachi, Muhammad Ansari was also present.

Later, the Governor Balochistan and Ambassador exchanged shields.
