ISLAMABAD, Dec 05 (APP): Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Captain (R) Hamza Humayun awarded commendation certificates and cash rewards to 11 Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) lift-operator officers for their effective action against illegal parking and related violations.
An official told APP on Friday that the officers were invited to the CTO Office, where their performance in removing illegally parked vehicles and improving traffic flow was acknowledged, and certificates were formally presented.
According to the official order, the officers who received Class-III commendation certificates along with cash rewards included HC Raza Alam, Constable Bilawal Saleem, Constable Riaz Ali, HC Pervaiz Iqbal, Constable Sharif Gull, Constable Barkat Ullah, Constable M. Hanif, Constable M. Usman, Constable M. Farooq, Inspector Ghulam Sarwar and Sub-Inspector Sher Ali.
In total, over Rs 47,000 was distributed among the officers as a cash reward in recognition of their performance during enforcement operations.
CTO Hamza Humayun said that the efforts of the lift-operator officers in acting against illegal parking and ensuring smoother traffic flow were commendable, adding that such encouragement would continue to strengthen disciplined and effective enforcement across the federal capital.
