ISLAMABAD, Dec 22 (APP): President Mamnoon Hussain Tuesday said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and development of Gwadar Port will bring prosperity to Pakistan and particularly in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Talking to Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Mir Ghazanfar Ali Khan who called on him here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr the President expressed satisfaction at the ongoing development projects in the area.
The President felicitated Mir Ghazanfar Ali Khan on assuming the office of Governor and hoped that Gilgit-Baltistan would witness more progress and development in future.
The Governor briefed the President about the overall situation in Gilgit-Baltistan, particularly the ongoing development projects in the area.
President Mamnoon said the government was according highest priority to carry out development in Gilgit-Baltistan.
