ISLAMABAD, Feb 03 (APP):The District and Sessions Court of Islamabad on Tuesday recorded statements of two witnesses in the murder case of 22-year-old Islamic University student Iman Afroz, who was killed in her hostel room.
The hearing was conducted by Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka.
Prosecutor Naveed Hussain Kyani appeared before the court on behalf of the state.
During the proceedings, the court recorded the statements of two more witnesses. Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka directed the prosecution to present the remaining evidence at the next hearing.
The accused, Feroz, was produced before the court during the hearing. After recording the statements, the court adjourned the case until February 12.
According to case details, Iman Afroz, a 22-year-old student of the International Islamic University, was found murdered in her hostel. Following the incident, police registered a murder case at Ramna Police Station and started an investigation.
The prosecution informed the court that witness statements and evidence are being collected as part of the legal process. The court directed that all remaining evidence should be presented at the next hearing to move the trial forward.
