ISLAMABAD, Nov 10 (APP): Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday cancelled the arrest warrants of PTI Leader Junaid Akbar and granted him interim bail.
Judge Abual Hasanat Muhammad Zulqarnain granted him interim bail on a surety bond of Rs 5,000 till December 22. Junaid Akbar appeared before Anti-Terrorism Court during the hearing.
The court issued notices to the parties on the bail application. The court directed the parties to present their arguments at the next hearing and adjourned the hearing till December 22. Junaid Akbar appeared in the court along with his lawyer Ayesha Khalid.
A case has been registered against him at Kohsar police station.
