ISLAMABAD, Oct 22 (APP): The Margalla police on Wednesday presented two accused before the District and Sessions Court of Islamabad.
The accused, arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman inside a private shopping mall apartment, have confessed to the crime.
The accused, identified as Faisal Jalal and Hafeezullah, were produced before Judicial Magistrate Mureed Abbas. After the hearing, the court handed both suspects over to the police on a three-day physical remand for medical and forensic examination.
During the proceedings, the police requested custody of the suspects, stating that further investigation and medical verification were required. The court approved the request and directed the investigation team to submit a progress report at the next hearing.
The case was registered at the Margalla Police Station on the complaint of the victim.
The court directed the police to present the accused again after the completion of their three-day remand.
