ISLAMABAD, Jul 16 (APP):The Special An Anti-Narcotics Court acquitted two accused (husband & wife) in the case pertaining to smuggling of 8kg heroin and 2400 grams ice.
Special Court’s Judge Dr. Abida Sajjad heard the case.
During the hearing, Danish Akbar Khan Advocate appeared in the court on behalf of accused Nadeem Gul and took the position that the accused was arrested on the basis of suspicion and later a false case was registered.
The accused had nothing to do with the alleged drugs and have no criminal record, the lawyer argued.
After hearing the arguments, the court issued an order of acquittal
