Corrupt leaders know about their fate: Murad Saeed

ISLAMABAD, Jan 14 (APP):Minister for Communications and Postal Services Murad Saeed on Monday said corrupt leaders knew very well about end of their political careers as they did not even dare to sit in the National Assembly to listen to the answers about the allegations leveled by them.Speaking in the National Assembly, the minister said the former prime minister assisted Ishaq Dar, who remained involved in money laundering, to fly out of the country. “The opposition should have courage to listen about their acts of corruption which they made during their governments,” he maintained.
He said the countries having good relations with Pakistan were assisting it because they knew that its incumbent leadership was honest and sincere to the people.
Due to the committed leadership, the minister said, the US President also sought help from Pakistan and wanted to meet new leader Imran Khan.
Murad Saeed said the United States used to threaten Pakistan in the past and the then Defence Minister Khawaja Asif did not pursue the country's case in Washington.
He said Shehbaz Sharif, who himself was facing allegations of corruption, accused others but he did not know that he would have to answer about his corrupt deeds.
The minister said the country would progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan. He urged Leader of the Opposition Shahbaz Sharif to raise the people’s issues in the National Assembly.
He said slogans were raised to use the Sindh card or that of Balochistan instead of answering the questions of Joint Investigation Team (JIT). Billions of rupees were being traced in the accounts of innocent vendors, he said adding that each character of the story of corruption would be exposed.
" Imran Khan used to talk about the nexus between the PPPP (Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian) and the PML-N (Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz) and I recalled his claim today when Shehbaz Sharif was embracing Asif Ali Zardari," he maintained.
