Corps Commander visits Central Police Office, reaffirms resolve to eliminate terrorism
PESHAWAR, Aug 04 (APP):Corps Commander Peshawar paid an important visit to the Central Police Office (CPO) here on Tuesday, where he was presented a guard of honour by a smartly turned-out police contingent.
Upon his arrival, the Corps Commander was received by the Inspector General (IG) of Police, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and other senior police officials.
The Corps Commander laid a floral wreath at the Police Martyrs’ Memorial and offered Fateha for the departed souls of the police personnel who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.
The IG Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa gave a detailed briefing on the province’s law and order situation, counterterrorism efforts, and measures being taken to strengthen the writ of the state.
The Corps Commander and the IG Police reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to maintaining zero tolerance against terrorism, extremism, and crime, pledging that terrorists would be brought to their logical end at all costs.
The Corps Commander also interacted with police personnel, appreciated their professionalism and sacrifices, and reiterated the collective resolve to eradicate terrorism and ensure lasting peace and stability in the province.
