Continuity of democratic system appreciable: Ali

ISLAMABAD, Sep 17 (APP):Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Ali Muhammad Khan on Monday said the continuity
of democratic system was appreciable which would bring prosperity in the country.
Talking to a private news channel, he said that President Dr Arif Alvi is a courageous man and he would work for the betterment of the country and welfare of masses.
Ali Muhammad Khan said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government had adopted
austerity measures in order to avoid burdening the national treasure.
To a query, he said Pakistan was enjoying brotherly relations with Saudi Arabia.
He said the country’s economy was in worst condition when the PTI government came into
power and now it was taking measures to improve the economy.
Taxation system must be improved to generate more revenue, he added.
