RAWALPINDI, Nov 29 (APP): Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General
Qamar Javed Bajwa Tuesday appreciating the role of media in nation building called upon it to continue with positive contributions in this regard.

In a maiden interaction with mediapersons after assuming charge of COAS in the Change-of-Command ceremony here, he acknowledged media’s positive contributions towards nation building efforts.

He expressed the hope that media would continue the gesture with the
same spirit and vigor.

Answering a question about situation on the Line of Control, the COAS said “everything will be all right.”

General Qamar Javed Bajwa thanked General Raheel Sharif for praising his professionalism and extending good wishes in future endeavours.
